I took a trip to Iowa/ Minn areas and we hit old parks and picnic groves last month here are the best of the finds.... lots o' clad and wheaties were found also it was a great time got visit some detecting friends along the way.
14k gold tie clasp very heavy!! Spoon is solid silver made from melted coins around 1857!! hh all jd

Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery nice finds JD..the tie clasp is awesome..havent seen one of those found in a long time. Nice to see you posting again. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent digs from your travels j.d. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the 1854 Seated Liberty quarter. The tie clasp does look like a hefty peice of gold.It makes you wonder how on earth someone could lose such a thing.

I like doing road trips. Only trouble is not enough time. So many places so little time.
