Big eyeball find!

Hey everyone, I was MD'ing by some RR tracks (only 3 cents) and spied this sign....I tried the best I could to clean it up (CLR scrubbing....) and i think the rust situation is as good as it is gonna get. However, It is still bent up and I was wondering if it would cause more damage to bend it back in place? if no, how?

Yes, some more of the porcelain WILL flake off! I would probably try to straighten it some.....but thats me....it's your call!

cool signage ! I;ve found quite few good old signs over years nailed onto old wooden grain bins or garages etc. ya never know where you;ll find one.My last good one found was a 1940's coca-cola sign that owner had tossed out of an old chinese restaraunt into the dumpster.Needless to say I was into that dumpster quicker than rat on a piece of cheese....HH..Panz

Golden - great signage!!! If you were going to try and straighten that out a bit, I've had some success (or luck ) with a good rubber mallet and a block of pine. Start at an edge (gently) and work your way inwards. You want to "convince" it more than force it. You could also start by hand. Either way, great find and good luck!
