Big cut

Just got home from a quick evening hunt with a friend and he pulled these two coins. . Hoping one of u can if the copper. If I had to guess it Portuguese maybe azores or Brazil but not sure. Thanks for the look and suggestions

No ID on your cut coin, but it must have taken a pretty good whack to cut that one!

The coin is a Portuguese 'Pataco' (40 Réis) from 1819 to 1825. Minted under the king João VI. I myself have one and it is not an uncommon coin. Your's cut is in quite nice condition btw

Yes it does. And it's most likely confirmed too that the coin is made out of Bronze
