Had to drive 270 miles to Arlington Ohio & back today for work. Got home at 6:30. Since I sat in the truck all day and my wife is in Florida I just had to stretch my legs, so I quickly grabbed the detector & headed to a pounded spot a few minutes from my house for a quick hunt. Not noticing how cold it was until I got my first good cherry picking signal & realizing I forgot my gloves & shovel I dug the plug with my little hand digger......clad dime. After being extremely selective & finding a few wheats, I gotta nice soft high tone while walking back to the truck.

Congrats on the Ben Franklin Half !

I've dug (31) Half's (not all Silver) but I'm still looking for my first Franklin ! :BangHead:

Love the Franklin half! But, I pretty much love any silver half (or dollar, or quarter, or dime, or whatever)! Congratulations!

Great find- nothing like knocking one off the bucket list. How many endless stories do we hear of "heading back to the vehicle and this happened"? We should ALWAYS be heading back to the vehicle. Congrats!
