Big bell & a 20's token
No silver for me this weekend. Got called away from work for a short hunt when we received permission to hunt on a golf course. No scores there, so we went to look for some lost keys
that a 81yo gent dropped while trimming trees. Couldn't finds any keys but came up with these
goodies.
The Palmolive-Peet Co, Chicago, P 1012." The company became known as the "Palmolive-Peet Co." in a merger in 1926. In 1928, it became the "Colgate Palmolive Peet Co.", so my best guess is that this token is from 1926-28.
The bell has a #2 on it, so maybe was a musical instrument...
