Big and Small...

I went back to the site I have been hammering for one last check...this is really the last time I go there until it is plowed...

I did manage to pick up my biggest crotal bell yet...completely intact! Inscribed with the number 5 and "N". To go with that I picked up a smaller bell inscribed with a 2. I still like to find these and have amassed quite a collection...just got to figure out what to do with them.

Not as old as the medieval bells you dig over there but probably mid 1800s...

Those crotal bells are awesome!!! I just found my very first one a few weeks back, and was thrilled with it! I'd love to find some more.

Some cool bells. Nice shape too. Nate and I have only found a few completely intact. Maybe it would be good to send a few this way to round our pitiful collection.

Very nice. Haven't dug one in a long time. Would be nice to see one with a maker come out but most seem to predate our sites.

No idea what the copper thing is...I have found about a dozen in a couple different locations...
