What a morning! Had to go hunting by myself this morning because everyone was busy so I took a drive to my old secret honeyhole. The E-Trac was fully charged and ready to go so I cranked up the sensitivity to 28 and off I went. The first hour was slow with some clad and Memorials so I decided to go to an area where I had scored silver last week. A few minutes later I got a solid 12-43 at 7 inches and out popped a 1957-D Rosie. Silver #97! About a foot from that I got a 12-45 at 5 inches and it was another Rosie. A 1959-D. Silver #98! Then about 20 minutes later I got a very solid sounding 12-31 at 4 to 5 inches so I decided to dig. I flipped the plug and saw the gold! A huge 14K 1/4 inch wide man's wedding band was staring right at me. I couldn't believe it! Biggest gold ring I have ever found. Then about a half hour later I hit a 1946 Rosie at 7 inches. Silver #99 for 2012! What a morning. I wanted to stay for #100 but I had to go. Maybe tomorrow if the rain holds off. Also got 19 clad coins for 98 cents. Happy hunting to all!
