Went to a creek this morning. I knew we had some rain but that area must’ve had a lot. Creek had changed quite a bit and flowed over the bars and muddied them up again. I wasn’t finding much so I made the long walk to the best spot where I’ve found most this year. Found this tool made from a large flake. Same spot as the Eva point. Not sure exactly what it is but shows work. Maybe a blade idk. Found some other worked materials but no points have to let nature do her thing and clean it all off again.

At least you got out, it's been way too hot here for me. When I was younger I didn't care.
I always sleep good after my walks. I found some other things to do it wasn’t terrible but I was hoping for a killer, maybe next time

I hate autocorrect other things to so it wasn’t terrible 😃

I think the black one is upside down. I believe it’s a discarded Eva preform. I’m hoping to find one that’s complete and then I will make a frame of all of them I find in that section. It’s the first Eva points I’ve ever found. If the water ever gets low enough I will walk further upstream and hopefully find a cashe

the rain wont come back to my streams until late September. In the mean time, now and then I get lucky anyway.

gotta love the artifacts that are worked on both sides but don’t resemble much of anything. I don’t know if anyone does the same but some days I go out not expecting much, other days I feel like something great is out there waiting and I’ve just got to find it. Sometimes that feeling proves to be true and I find a nice point almost like a dog picking up a scent. Hopefully you’re on to one and that cache is hiding nearby.

I thought it was a big end scraper when I first saw it. But it’s a preform of some kind.
I get those feelings to when I walk to some spots.
