Better Coil For My ACE 250

I would like a better coil for my ACE 250. I almost never search a beach because I live in Colorado. I usually use it in open areas ie; parks ball fields ect. I also use in in Colorado Goast towns, Any advice will be appricated.

for some folks the 4.5 inch sniper coil is great --- for trashy spots or target rich areas -- due to its smaller size it gets better target seperation -- less "co migling" or "masking" of targets

for depth * bigger sized coils tend to have a deeper reach .

Unless you're searching for a sniper coil, I'd suggest the new 8.5 x 11 DD coil Garrett just came out with for the ACE 150/250. About $120.00 most places. From the reports I've heard so far it has more depth and works within a few inches of things like bleachers and chain link fences. There was one report here on T'net, I think.

You hunt clad coins & jewellery...the sniper coil gets you closer to metal objects like playground equipment, chain link fences and rebar in sidewalks.

You hunt for clad coins, + older coins + relics....the new 8.5 x 11 DD coil Garrett has recently released might make a better choice

You hunt large open areas such as soccer fields, base ball diamonds, farmers fields, then either the new 8.5 x 11 DD coil Garrett or the 9" x 12" Proformance coil would do.

Love my sniper......Use it 99 percent of the time, no matter where I am at...Do Not like the stock coil...Am considering the new DD coil.....

The 10x14 DD Excelerator coil does wonders for the 250. You'll cover a heck of lot more ground and it will go a little bit deeper.
