Haven't felt much like posting lately but here is one of my better 2 cent hunts. Its always nice to get a couple of oldies. Anymore for me finding a wheat is just as good as a silver coin, especially when they are in nice shape.
Heres a few of the more interesting johnny come lately finds.
Got the 1889 V yesterday on a hunt with a buddy. He said the oldest coin wins, ding, ding, and we have another winner! When will he learn not to challenge me? Onto the cheap ring thing, was trying out a new pry screwdriver at the playground. Was prying away at a 40 conductivity reading on my E-Trac when this sweet little girls ring popped out. The hair beret is a sweet flashback to the 60s made with the lost wax casting method. Read just like a nickel from 5 to 6 inches down. Nice that the holder is intact but rusted to heck. Don't know what material it was cast out of but very heavy feeling for its size, probably some cheap lead tin mix? Well that is all for today, hope you enjoyed the viewing!
