sheesh and I thought they were only good for target practice! Looks like you came up with a real good idea!

Way to use your marbles, I mean your golf balls!

drill a hole a brass rod and jb weld instant probe  (orange or yellow work the best so you dont forget/lose it in the ground ::) )

I make probes from car trunk springs because they are torsion springs. The old
Caddys have great ones. Just melt the end of the rod with the welder and make a ball on it so the shaft doesn't have any friction. Keep a wet rag on it so the heat doesn't travel up the rod to far to take any temper out of it.

Them goff balls are fun to skittle with a 22 rifle... ;D

lol I see I am not the only one that finds them best for target practice!! We had a blast throwing them out in the fields and shooting at them growing up!

Oh gosh! I gotta confess it's been a long time.
We used to do it in the bean fields, after harvest.

But there's just too many people now.
Just can't do that fun stuff anymore.

:(

I shoot 'em with a powerful pellet rifle, I put a cheap screw eye in them and suspend them from a tree branch, stops riccochet's.....NGE
