Best Spoken, Growled, Screamed, Whispered, etc. song intro

So I was just tryin to remember some of my favorite vocal song intros. (A capella don't count, and neither does counting, but maybe Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd wins that one hands down.) I mean vocal intros if turned up to 11 will make the cat run away and your grandma spit her false teeth out. I'm surveying people I meet about that question, and not impressed with the results so far. However, 3 of my favorites are 'a Wop Bop a Loo Bop a Wop Bam Boom, Little Richard', 'I am the God of Hell Fire and I bring you..., Crazy World of Arthur Brown', 'Kick out the jams m***erf****r, MC5'. Those are great ones to have all 4 windows cranked down and twist the knob off when you're cruising Main. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone who bought Arthur Brown's record. But we played hell out of it on the jukebox at the poolhall. Anybody know some others I may have forgotten? Def Leppard has a good one, Kid Rock maybe, and a few others I've heard about so far around town.

Perfect, dead on, Oregon Viking. I got that song on 8-track. The guy who yelled out the MC5 intro in his store and scared tourists, and made me look stupid cause I had forgotten them, had better be ready..."Alright, es de wango de tengo!"

I've got a good one....as teenagers we would play this loud....The beginning of Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast! (and the entire album..)
A lot of bass helps. Might scare people though. My high school garage band covered this song

Unless you grew up in Canada, you may not know this one although I think O.V. said he has a Headpins album.

Anyway, My dad would crank this Saturday morning (early 80's) to get us kids out of bed to do chores.....



No wonder I turned out to be a headbanger!
