Yesterday I went back to a late 1800’s
church camp my dad suggested I hunt.
He said that it had been good to him in the past and I’ve been in there 3 times and it has yet to disappoint.
First hunt (3 weeks ago) I found 5 Indian cents (earliest 1895), ten wheats, and a 1944 nickel. Last weekend found a 1904 Indian and a 1939d half along with a 1920 Merc and another 8 wheats with the earliest being 1909.
So up to this point my best silver day had been two silvers, which has happened 3 times since I purchased my Nox 800 last year. Never thought I would top a two silver day….
Yesterday’s hunt was amazing.
Only had about 2 hrs to hunt but it was time well spent…..
1892 Indian head penny
8 wheats (1917 oldest)
1960 D wash 25c
1917 merc
1948 rosie
1912 and 1901 barber.

Happy hunting!!

Great finds! That will bring you back.

Yes sir...dime trifectas don't happen every day. Big congrats! Looks like you have yourself a killer site. I'd seriously camp out there and pound it to death!

Nice job on the Dime trifecta, the Walking Lib, and all the rest of your silvers.

Sites like that one are really sweet in your first years of detecting. Everything is new and exciting. Take your time and enjoy the experience. That Walking Liberty half dollar is a real peach!

AMAZING FINDS !!! Thanks for sharing !!
