Not sure if you can tell, but my machine is covered in smoke. It's one of just a few things I recovered after my apartment building burned down Thursday night.

Needed de-stress time today. So I hit a tot lot.

First find was a zincoln...sweetest find ever.

Good grief ! That's awful ! So sorry to learn about your apartment fire. So everything else you owned was burned up ? Keep us posted.

Your last picture doesn't show up for me. I'm really glad you came out of the inferno with your machine. At least in those times which hit us with loss, we still have those small treasures.

Congratulations on moving forward :)

Sorry to hear of the fire, as a retired Fire Captain, i understand your feelings and frustrations.

I had a house fire a few years back. Actually a shed caught fire but, was only a foot away from the attached garage. Melted the aluminum siding right off and did a bit of structural damage. I can empathize with your feeling right now. Glad you saved the tector and pray you get back on track with as little loss as possible. Now about getting right back into swing therapy, WELL DONE !:hello2:

Sorry to hear about the fire....here's hoping you get things sorted out asap.

Regards + HH

The FD had to rescue me out of my 2nd floor window. I am seriously thankful for that firefighter! Funny the worst part was not nearly being killed, but the fact the landlord has not contacted me. The fire was arson.

Lost every thing but my detector and a few leather working tools.

But it's going to be a great 4th of July.

I feel your pain. I think I would have beaten a wall down if I didn't have my swing relief. Well that and one gal from work who had been a rock to my mental health.

Awsome attitude to have when the chips are stacked against you. Sorry to hear of your losses. If I can help with anything feel free to pm me. Keep your chin up, and your spirits high.

Dang it Mz J..!!!!

You intact is the best recovered treasure saved this time.....
But a home fire is awful. Awful!
Put me on your list too . ( No ,not the %#&@ list!)
Admiring your attitude from here.
Hang in there...

Sorry to hear that, renters insurance will cover it, id think? If so, look on the bright side - you get some new stuff. 8-)

Very sorry to hear of the fire, I sure hope things get better soon.

Thank God you made it out. That's the main thing. So sorry you lost all your things, hope you have no trouble getting the whole situation sorted.

In the meantime, you definitely have the right idea: De-stress yourself going detecting.

Wow what a crazy thing to have happen. good to hear that you got rescued safely. Hope you get everything straightened out and take some time on the holiday to enjoy being here still.

I'm sorry to hear about your fire. I've been through it myself in an apartment building with a fire two floors above me. We were displaced for 8 months and lost many many belongings. Hang in there and I'm glad you seem to be putting an excellent positive spin on the situation. Attitude is everything

fire destroys memories and so many things that can never be replaced but still being alive means hope to live another day. I hope that you are restored to what you were and had but insurance never truly covers every little thing that you don't miss until you need them. Attitude makes a major difference in recovery and getting your feet back on the ground and I hope that it is speedy for you. You see it happening to others and suddenly you are one of those others. Our prayers are with you in this. DL

Omg! I just now saw this. I am so glad that you are ok!!! Wonder why the landlord hasn't responded? He's either a jerk and/or responsible!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers...
