eBay or a reputable local jewelry shop!

Have a jewelry shop weight it and verify the metal content.

With that Info, you can e bay it

Nice ring find, good luck on the sale! :occasion14:

Ebay, Craigslist or any other local selling platforms. Don’t sell it to pawn shops or jewelry stores because you won’t get much. Nice ring

Most jewelry stores will give you much less than melt value. Pawn shops are out of the question. Try looking up "ARA Gold Buyers" on line. I've heard good stuff about them. You would make more money on that ring if you could sell it to someone who is going to wear it.

I would have to make at least 100% profit on that before listing on eBay. That or I’ll take a root canal for $100 Alec.

Explain what you mean by 100% profit. I'm thinking that if melt value is $100,, you would accept $200 in a private transaction??

Thanks, appraised for 2k. Wife's happy.

I have it listed on Facebook marketplace. I have a lead for a Jewelry wholesale that honest, whatever I get from it is pure profit. Thanks for the input.

Thank you. It was appraised for 2k. Wife is happy.

I did that 14 grams platinum with 7 diamonds. It was appraised for 2K. The wife is happy.

Hi Tasmorn, Are you in a M.D. club? If not, find out if there is one in your area and ask if you can sit in on a meeting. There you can ask what they do with their jewels.

A Jewelry store may know of a detecting club by you.
Good Luck,
Tokameel

appraisal is for insurance and/or replacement value - on average you would get 10% of that =$200
try selling on ebay or craigslist like others said and try getting more
I have one now that is appraised at $3000 - I could get $450 for melt ...I would not take less than $750 for it
but mine is a tiffany -platinum and does not have a scratch on it - guy must have lost on honeymoon - with right jeweler could prob
get more on consignment
good luck

Always try to sell it to an individual, never a dealer.

I've made the mistake of showing rings to my wife she thinks she wants to keep the good ones . I don't show them to her anymore.

I got to sell it first or trade for maybe diamond earrings. Whatever she wants. She lets me go metal detecting anytime.
