Checking around my brother's back yard, a house built in 1945, I had the best day yet finding silver. All the merc's were found in the same hole. The buffalo nickel is a 1929, but it's hard to see the date from the photo. The wheat backs are all 1940's with one 1939. Last year I found a 1944 quarter and a 1940 merc in his front yard. Sure was an exciting evening!

Wow that's one heck of a spill! A 4-pack of silver in one day is really hard to come by. Congratulations on a great hunt!

Really nice. Congrats!

Great finds! I'd grid that yard and hit it plenty hard! 6 silvers there so far? There's gotta be another couple or so :)
