Detector(s) used
Minelab xterra, Whites DFX, Notka Makro Simplex. Folks the price don’t mean everything, the question is are you willing to put in the time to learn the machine, experience will pay off I guarantee it.

Yes all you whites md owners, Yes I have a older whites dfx spectrum 300. I have the stock coil and the eclipse 5.3 coil but I want to get one of the above. Without sounding stupid what does the one offer to the other in performance other than the price. I here deeper the DD goes deeper also but in short what option would be best for the detector im using. Whites super 12, DD ultimate or DD excelerator.

I got the ultimate 13" coil for my MXT if that's the one your talking about, I got it trying to get more depth over the D2 coil which is a depth monster, while I didn't get more depth it did get just as deep and hit harder on the deep 10"+ coins sitting on edge. While I did hear them with the D2 they would sound like deep trash and the ultimate 13" made them sound enough better that I would dig them, the 13" coil isn't a good coil for the woods though as its too big and the openings in the coil make it a stick magnet but it covers a lot of ground for those open places and is good in trash for such a big coil.
