Waded into some uncharted territory this afternoon and stopped at some branches further away from my home area while taking care of some other things. As I've said before, my box hunts are typically disappointing, with no more than two 40% coins or a 90% coin for every two boxes searched--all the finds were in N.F. String wrappers.
Well, I took the loose halves that were on hand as well as all four MWRs the teller had. A 1951D was the lone find. First pre-Kennedy half I've ever found in one of these MWRs. N.F. String wrapper as well.
