Doing rather poorly at the beach I made up a photo of my Best finds for the week. Three Silver rings, a nice looking gold colored chrapie and a Silver dime. (I also pick up any heart shaped rocks I find). The earrings are interesting but junk.
SO...Friday morning {before posting my Best Finds) I decided to try the wet sand at the beach. Got up at 6 AM and was detecting by 6:15. Well the wet sand was not good...except for 4 modern train tokens valued at $1.50 each. Being still early I swept the dry sand with my Sand Shark a bit heading for my car. YIKES!! a 14K wedding ring! It was down only about 3" deep. Weighs in at 3.1 grams and the diamonds look real.
The squirrel came out of nowhere and was about a foot away reaching for my gold ring as I was making the photograph! I went in the house and got it some peanuts. The ring is safe.
I especially like the Motto on that "Moebius" silver ring...Nothing is impossible.
