hello all, i finally got my new dfx and been out most of my off time getting used to running it. here are some of the better stuff i've found with it since the first part of march. two military buttons, brass shotgun shell, couple of pocket knives (five total but these were the best survivers), telephone company stamp, cedar point badge dated 1911 honoring the ohio state pharmaceutical ass'n reunion, onondaga county defense committee badge no. 4500, broach with locket on back, kirks flake soap token, boy scout token from excelsior shoe co. putt-putt plus token, 1921 elks long branch n.j. state reunion key, indianapolis athletic club no. 623 fob, 1962 frankin half, 1942 quarter, 1936 buffalo, 1910 canadian large cent, pretzel bell tavern token congradulating the class of 1937, indians:1897, 1904, 1890, wheaties:1918, 1911, 1917. i was told the brass ball is a cane knob??? and not sure what the thing is in front of it.

Really Nice finds you have here...those pocket knives are in great shape....I think that little thing in front of the cane knob is a drawer pull.Glad you are posting finds.WTG

The thing in front of the cane knob could also be a lamp finial. Those things that screw on a lamp to keep the shade on. Hope it helps.

Nice haul, clump. You're doing well with that DFX. :)

I just found a brass ball like that yesterday with my DFX. I think mine is from a brass bed, though.
