Benefit's of a 5x8 DD on an Ace 350

Would it be a worth while purchase? From what I gathered so far, the only benefit is better target separation in trashy area's. Not to say that is not a good enough reason, but, would it be a good investment for the 350? Or would it be better just to invest in a more capable machine down the line? HH!!

In my never humble opinion. I'd save the money the you'd spend on the 5x8, trade/sell the Ace and definitely upgrade.

The 5x8 is an awesome coil on the AT Pro and I'm sure it would work well for separating the good from the trash on the 350 too. But the AT's audio responses convey soooo much more info than the "bing bong" Ace could ever hope to.

Yeah,put that money towards a better model! The ATP is no slouch even with the stock coil on it,and with the 5X8 coil,it becomes a real "bloodhound" and will sniff out coins in places that you wouldn't believe.
