Got a few hours in at a local 1806 Farmhouse. Found a Benjamin Franklin Souvenir token and a toasted copper. The token is from the Franklin Institute, and I saw a few posts that dates it to around 1930. Also found a large axe head and splitting maul. Great finds I love the Franklin Token thats nice. Cool Axe heads Ive seen people use electrolysis on those and they turned out really good. I tried it once didnt work very well for me LOL Great post. Tommy

I found one of those exact Ben Franklin souvenir tokens in the Seattle area 2 years ago. Funny! Nicely done.

Nice job, congrats! :occasion14:

Thanks everyone! That is great that you found a Ben Franklin in Seattle. That is certainly a long way from Philly. I wonder how long they made them? I definitely plan on running the axe through electrolysis. Hopefully it will come out nice.

I finally ran the axe through electrolysis and now know why the farmer tossed it. I hope this thing didn’t go flying when it cracked open. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1576338135.786144.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1576338153.003551.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1576338164.871742.jpg
