Belt Buckle

I found this belt buckle near the Germany-Belgium border. At least I think it is a belt buckle! I'm not sure if it is military or not but was hoping maybe somebody on this forum might be able to help identify. I cannot find any letters or numbers anywhere on the item. I dont think its military. The best You can do is posting it in the "Whats it" forum. Lot more people with quite a bit knowledge in that.
Just finding it in the ardennes doesnt mean its military. Found everything from roman to modern there and nearly anything in between.
