I think the G might be denoting a Masonic buckle because the G in masonry is very prevalent. It has many meanings like god geometry, or the gimmel the true square. Or it could just be a old Gucci lol

I think it is just a vintage monogrammed men's belt buckle. The folded over tabs on the back often contain maker's information, but not always.
