I figure there's probably a good cache or maybe some old bottles an such but that would require more time than a "dash an' dig" search. Maybe some excavating you think?

Welcome Reg !

Several Sources to try.

Locally, you could ask a Neighbor, Postal Worker, or a cop
if they know.
You could alsy TRY Calling the County Courthouse.

In most cases the Courthouse would tell you, to come in
for the info, but I say try calling, as they may have a web site
where you can search the info yourself, saving time running.

Good Luck, sounds like a Good spot.

thanks forthe leads. and yes they did want me to come in. :-\ ::)

i'll try and let yall know what comes of it elseware in the forum

They probably wanted you to come in because they charge for the info. The tax deeds office will have the records on who pays the taxes on the property. Good Luck.

I am currently searching two properties like that. As mentioned already, I also used the tax office to find out who's name the properties are in. One property I had an address for, so it was easy to track down. The other one had no visible address, so I went to www.zillow.com , typed in the road, zoomed around until I found a picture of the property, and narrowed down the address that way. I then made contact with the owners, and got approval. Good luck.

I go to the closest neighbor, they usually can tell you.

the only ocupied property next door is the elementary school, other than that nothing but empty fields all around.

found abunch of tools and a some lumps of melted aluminum from a fire pit today. also fell over a big wild rose bush :P

Good luck in your search, Fossis......................

Regij I don't know about where you are at but around here , if it is a very big track of woodland you can usually find poster signs around the boundary, most of them are signed by the owner.
