beer token

dug this up on a cold windy hillside near my home town of Falkirk in Scotland.
it's a Groningin ( Neatherlands) city council beer token given to council workers in exchange for beer at the local rathskeller ( local tavern)its dated 1590.

happy new year all!! Dugfind the area where i found it is near an old sea port so thats probably how it ended up there. their is nothing on the back of it.
