Wow, those pictures are awesome! My wife agrees that the pictures are super groovey. One day i bet you'll have enough bottlecaps to make a mosaic on the side of a building. I wish I had saved each and every piece of trash, but, to the can with most. Very nice totals, thanks for sharing with us :)

Now this was a GREAT post! I love it when people show the junk stuff too. This lets the rest of us know that we are not alone finding junk. Everyone does. Amazing how fast it adds up isn't it? WTG Mike!

I can arrange to save you my bottle caps next season and send em to ya. Wish our prices were the same, can you imagine paying $21 for a 12 pack of canned beer here, even at that price, I dig a ton of them.

I guess you dig EVERYTHING. That is good. But why do you KEEP everything?

Nice pic of all the bottle caps.

I hunt with a two pocket apron. One side for keepers and the other side for junk. When the junk side gets full or starts to fill up, I deposit it in a nearby trash can.

Only the keepers come home. You are not the only one who keeps everthing, there are others, but it is personal choice. There may be some junk items that you are unsure of and do not want to dispose of in case it may turn out to be something of value. By all means, keep those items. The obvious items that art trash, I throw away.

Everyone who detects digs a lot of junk, myself included. What you do with that junk is up to you. Some folks collect bottle caps or pull tabs. That falls right in with this hobby.

Keep digging and posting.

Happy Hunting.
