It's been awhile since I've posted. Haven't really even detected in a couple years except the past few days. I detected all day in two spots. I asked my neighbor if I could detect her yard which is probably at least two acres with two houses on the property. The houses only date back to the 1910s but the yard has been run through by people since the 1800s. The houses have always been in her family. The landowner was super nice and said I can dig until my heart is content, but any jewelry was hers. I was happy to oblige. She told me she lost a gold ring, but I didn't find it. I did however find a junk gold ring and a heavy silver ring. She gave me the junk ring, but she kept the silver ring. She lost over ten years ago and forgot about it. She was thrilled to have it back. I also gave her a crappy pocket watch I found. I like to show that she can trust me to give back any family heirlooms and not be greedy about being on her land. I'm just happy to have access to her property whenever I want. I always went back to an older homestead in the woods today. I found an older bullet and some silverware there. Any info on the bullet would be awesome. All of the other finds were in a very small area of the yard. Should be a good site. Very minimal junk. Anyways here are the finds.
In total: Found a silver dime, 8 wheat cents, $1.43 in regular change, 5 spoons, a knife, a toy gun, 7 old toy cars, a junk diamond ring, two tool tags, an old junk ring, a silver ring (I gave that back to the property owner), and a pocket watch I gave to the property owner.
