I returned to an old faithful school yard lawn today. It gave me two kids rings yesterday and big silver rings last month.
I swung the coil right up next to the outer boundary chain link fence today, near the baseball diamonds and track and field jumping/throwing pits. I got a solid 90 VDI on the ATPro at two inches, dug and was rewarded with a beautiful sterling spinner ring in a basketweave pattern! It is marked ".925 MEX" inside. It is a "semi-chunker," weighing in at 9 grams.
I swung the coil over the hole again, thinking, "Some teen track athlete hung his sports bag or jacket on the fence to compete in the long jump, the ring fell out!" I got a solid 78 VDI, dug, and found the homely mood ring...
Found about $5.00 in clad to round out the day. Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all!
