This is one of the nicer WW1 studio portraits that I've discovered. This one was most likely taken in 1918 or 1919 following the cessation of hostilities. It features a young engineer Lieutenant wearing his WW1 Victory Ribbon and summer weight tunic. Inscribed on the bottom is, "With Love to Grace, Al."
