Beautiful VA Button!!

Got out with my dad for a few hours Sunday night. We went back to the field where I just found the 2 GA buttons. This VA button was maybe 20-30 feet away from where they were dug. I can't believe how much gold is still on this button!!!! It has a Waterbury/Scovill Mfg Co. backmark and a stand up shank.

WTG on a nice button. Looks like you are in a decent spot. Years ago I dug a nice Horstmann VA at the corner of Cameron and Monmouth streets. My aunt used to live near that corner. I also got an 1812 1st Regt of Artillerist button and some one piece eagle I's. I think they've built on that corner now. It's been a while since I've been up that way.

Nope, no Todd this time, I got out for a few hours before dark with my dad (his first time actually using a detector). I just met Todd during the past 2 DIV's, we carpooled together with Hutch. We hunted once together since but our schedules haven't matched up for a while. Hopefully that will change this summer.
