Good Morning All.... Got up at 6 am. and grabbed a cup of coffee. Headed to my converted bedroom to office to enjoy my 1st. cup. Sat down, grabbed remote and turned on TV and computer. A few minutes later I was checking out TreasureNet and all the postings. Had to think for a minute and looked out left side window. And there was a beautiful tom turkey all fanned out standing out by my well casing. Watched him for about 10 minutes. Then he walked off out of sight so I looked out the right window and there stood 2 deer in the front yard at edge of woods. I watched them till they walked off then turned my attention to the fox / FOX NEWS while surfing TreasureNet. Beautiful sunrise this morning. Was going to leave for MI. this morning to deliver a large trestle table and 4 benches I just finished building but maybe tomorrow morning. Hope everyone's day started off as good as mine.

Later.... Brad

Ahh, we are so lucky to live in the country! I have been watching Canadian geese with their goslings all morn. I know they are a pain for most people, but when there are only two pair on the lake, it's quite enjoyable. I have yet to see a tom turkey strutting his stuff this yr., but I'm hoping.

My morning started off looking at a dirty diaper, he's 87. But it's just a frame of mind, really. To me I was simply grabbing a largemouth bass by the lower jaw and putting it in the livewell. :laughing7: Life is still good, even when it isn't!

No deer or turkey sightings this morning in Mi.. Coffee yes. A thirty year plus producing area for morels gave up five which is amazing as the entire sight has been leveled from logging. Ahh well. Had a good run there over the years. Beautiful morning. A slight drizzle at times and an extra shirt welcomed.

Heading your way early tomorrow morning to deliver table and benches.... Think I'll hang around 1 extra day and check out my old haunts for morels. To bad about your old "honey hole" for rooms.

Was going to wait till Monday but just had to go. Usually they start smoky or tan to brown color. These were blacks which start showing when their up good just weeks before the whites are up. I,m s.w. from center of state (lower) about halfway to lake Mi. so if your old shroomin grounds are south of here it should be prime time there?

just birds and the trap rock river is up to it's Banks, the run off is happening the snow is all most gone,,,where it wasn't piled..we still have more snow north of us....

I saw two foxes on the way to work thursday. so I win!!

Hey guy.... I didn't stay up in MI. to hunt because the guys who were going to go with me suddenly had to work both Sunday / Monday morning. I could have stayed but decided to go home Sunday morning to avoid the traffic after delivering projects I built. I was in the Otsego / Plainwell / Hastings area. I grew up in the Constantine, White Pigeon, Three Rivers area. I didn't know you were that "close" to my old stomping grounds.

Each winter has me wanting to be closer to your current stomping grounds. l.o.l. They should have been up in decent numbers in southern areas north of Indiana.
Race track traffic weekend probably once closer to home for you?
