Back at the 1790s courthouse site today. I found a bunch of stuff yesterday and had to go back despite the 2 inches of snow we got yesterday. Every time I go back I'm convinced I've cleaned the place out but I'm always proven wrong
A gorgeous 1803 large cent. The reverse is stunning for a 200+ year old coin.
Next coin took a bit of work to ID but I found it's a 1790s Liverpool Halfpenny Token (see attached non-dug example)
Colonial Knee buckle. Never found one before so please correct me if I'm wrong.
Unknown military item. Possibly a rosette? The eagle looks different that what I've seen on other rosettes. Would love some help here on the ID.
A couple of buttons and pewter spoon handles...
Thanks for looking!
Sorry about the sideways pictures I can't figure out how to make them come in straight on my phone...
