I think I'm getting too OLD for this forum. You said "gf" and everyone picked up that it was "girlfriend."

Me? I thought "grandfather." >:( :D ;D

I remember seeing the "bun wrappers" as a child when they were being worn. My aunt had some, but they were all crocheted and were cloth or yarn. I'm gonna have to go with the bulb cover idea. They're made with no "burnable" parts, even strung together with wire. I don't get the clasp, though.

OOPS Doc: Obviously I do not belong to the Ilustrators guild, but------ light bulb cover.

Frankly I do not know what it may actually be since I have never seen one, but this is my ouiji board guess.

err ah doc, the clasp is to change bulbs no?

The small end is placed on the stem (?) then wired shut permanently. Once mounted, to change a burned out light bulb, you merely opened the clasp, removed the bulb, replaced it with a new one, then closed it up with the clasp.

Hi , I just put it on a 60w modern bulb , and it fits pretty good .The clasp hooked up nicely .
