Beach Scoop

How much does a USED long handle beach scoop go for? I was looking at some new ones and they run $60-180...
are they really that expensive? and worth it?

In a word....YES

The really long handled ones go for about $100 used.
The ones at kellyco that are about 24" and can be used mostly for dry sand go for about $45-50.
These are good, but will get destroyed if used in the water too much.
If you want a water scoop, get an aluminum one (very light) but will wear over time,
or a stainless one (heavy, but generally undesructible) and generally al little more expensive.
