Beach hunting vacation

Went to Myrtle Beach for 10 days i hunted every morning for a couple hours.On first day i found a cel phone in a case with cash called the most called num on it and returned it to owner and got a thank you.The next few days found just clad change then i found a folding knife a few more days and then as i was walking down beach a lady stopped me says that her husband lost his wedding band on the beach the day before but didnt seem to have much faith in me finding it.I set up a 20 yard grid and started walking down and back down and BINGO scooped it up walked over to her said did it look like this she said yes he isnt going to beleive you found it.They were on vacation from Ohio said it saved her vacation and she gave me a 5 buck tip so with the clad and the tip i came home with 13.51 in change and a knife and 2 return stories. Figure i hunted 8 of the 10 days for 3 hours 24 hrs total works out to 56 cents an hour and many miles walking at least i covered my battery cost

IMO you found/came away with a lot more then 56 cents an hour. You came away with your self respect in good shape and you helped others overcome personal tragedies. In my book you are a hero!..........................63bkpkr

The beach was a magnet for paratroopers from Fort Brag. I made many trips there. You can find some good treasures there!
