Beach Hunting in Corpus Christi Texas Feb 2013

Hit the low tide this morning out around Padre Bali Park. Water was cold but the sun was out and made for a nice couple hours.
Found ~$1 in change, a big spoon and some type of ring without the stone. Probably cheap plate, but being new to this I'll get it checked out.

OUR FIRST RING ... AWESOME !!! Something besides pull tabs and bottle caps ... lol

Very awesome indeed and did the young man you find there come in with a low tone or a high tone and how deep was he?? Ha... Congrats on the finds and the time spent with the little one. Thats better than any dig for sure.

He's a trooper for sure. Up for whatever, loves the outdoors and would rather be outside doing anything than sitting in front of a TV ... gotta love that. Has two speeds ... all out and off. Now if I can just convince the Boss (wife) that he needs his own machine ... lol.

It's all about spending time together.... fish, hunt, sports, metal detect.... whatever. I loved when my step-son was 4 he never asked what we were going to do, just are WE going to do something. He was always ready to go no matter I had planned. Now he is 24 now and still calls me almost everyday (espcially if his car is broke ). You may find some treasure one day but your time together is the real treasure and from the pic you are already found some.

Hit North Beach for an hour before dark today.
Couple dimes, three pennys, two quarters (forgot) and part of a carabiner.
The usual trash was in the sand ... all the coins in the water.
Not too bad for a quick trip.
