My last 3 or 4 hunts have been all junk and some clad, but today I got lucky. The heart is 10K but i'm not sure if the stones are real, don't think so, the mexican ring is marked but worn off, I can see part of a K and MEX, don't know if the stones are real, don't think so. Last pic is the usual crap. HH -UPDATE- The pawn shop said there are 2 carots total weight in brown diamonds, 46 stones in all. Beautiful coming out of the sand then into my hand and straight into the wife's hand, easy come easy go.

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

I hope they didn't charge you $ for the permit to dig MK. They need to get their story straight. Well, nice 10K anyway and update us on whether the stones are real. They look a lirttle too good but who knows. HH, Quindy.

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

I am betting that the stones in the heart are topaz. Good digs.

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

Congratulations on your jewelery finds M! :notworthy:
These pieces are absolutely amazing! :o
Just think of what you might've found if the ranger hadn't come by!

Thanks for the replies everyone, that beach is huge, the biggest i've been on, it's just a shame i can't hunt it while the water is down, i'm still crying about it. LOL

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

Some times if you politely pre-sue a no It can be converted to a yes. I was told no Md ing in a park. went back and found The Man a week later and asked if i could Md if i dug no holes. I have taken clad and silver rings sense. good luck

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

On the heart pendant,...those are diamonds.......not the highest quality,...but they are diamonds. The ring has all synthetic stones.

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

WOW those are nice! Just in time for Christmas. Bet the wife wants the heart for Christmas. lol

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

Great finds. In Arkansas you can hunt beaches this time of year, but you cannot go into water. I consider this as part of the beach. My friend was ran out last month by park ranger. He went to park office and guy that wrote the law was there. He said I better give more detail on the rules of detecting beaches in our state parks. Dry and wet sand only. This is a bunch of crap. What does it hurt to detect the water. One thing it does is it helps getting out dangerous trash that will harm swimmers.

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

The M next to the 10k on the heart may mean it is Meda jewelry from China. Real gold, not fake.

Re: Beach Hunt - nice gold jewelry

I've never seen an Our Lady ring. Beautiful even if the stones are fake.

Don't know if I'd have the kahunas, but maybe it's time to MD at night when the rangers are in their little cabins fast asleep! :laughing7:

They sell diamond testers on ebay for cheap. It's worth it, even if they turn out to be NOT diamonds, because then you know.
Haven't found a real diamond yet, but they're out there...

BEAUTIFUL rings.

MDing beaches esp. in State Parks seems to becoming a problem everywhere! Wish we all could do something about it!!!

Wow!

All the best,

Lanny
