Hit my favorite beach today. Got lots of clad. First good find was this 1952 Notre Dame Academy 10K class ring. It rang up like a pull tab. It is initialed, so I am going to try to find the owner, who would be about 86 if alive, or her family. Among the clad were six silvers: 1944 Washington, 1940 and undetermined Mercury, 1957 and 1964 Roosies, and a 1943P Jefferson, my first silver war nickel. Happy hunting, and good luck out there!

Thanks! If I am lucky enough to make the return, I will start a new post. I emailed the school today to see if they had a graduate that year with the inscribed initials. Hopefully they did and will share the name. It will still be a bit of a long shot to find her, especially if she married and moved out of state. Luckily, genealogy was my previous hobby, so who knows. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks. Six silvers though, as the nickel is silver too, but who is counting :laughing7:

Thank you everybody. This beach has been very generous to me. I wish I lived closer, as I would be there right now!
