Beach Find: Looks like a missle top

Hi.

Found this in VA BEACH. There has been a sand replinishment and I found a bunch of casings and bullets. This is the first item that appears to be a larger projectile item.
A little over 3.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide at open base.

Any info appreciated!

your on the right track
i think its a rocket nose cone
the size/type escapes me 1.75 i think

If it is a nose cone it most likely is from a 1.75 rocket, that is the standard rocket for the air armed forces. I saw a ton of them while in the USAF, but never just the nose cone. Monty

Say Edde is that a 1.75 or a 2.75? Now that I think about it, I believe it is 2.75 inches in diameter? It's been a few years since I was in the AF. M nty
