How good of a detector is a Prizm II for beach detecting ?? Wet Sand /Dry Sand

Hi This is chopperJoe, about the (prizm metal detetor) mind worked very very good on dry sand but not on wet sand, if you want a detector for the water get one for water& sand. hope this help. Chopperjoe, Long Island n.y.

agreed mine seems to go a bit whacko in the wet sand but it was the first outing with it and I didn't try to adjust it at all.

in the dry sand though it was great. found a quarter at about 7 inches or so.
