Beach Bonanza!!!!!!

It was pouring rain today, NO thunder, lightning. What a perfect day for the Beach!!!!
No people around. 5 hours worth of finds, Beach conditions were just right. It was like detecting in a jewelry store!!!!!
Top row is 10K (18.5 grams), 2nd row is 14K (24.7 grams), bottom is junk jewelry and some coins. I don't care about the coins, I got GOLD!!!!!!!!!

The beach had just been raked. So, went into the surf. Even tho it was raining, they still snagged me $10 for parking. Guess I made back the parking fee!

How do you know what is 10K, 14K and any other K's ?

I found an earing with what looks like Turquoise and silver but how do really know ?

Is there a tool or something that you use ?
