I went back to a couple of my oldest sites in W PA that I had pounded. Like happy with one button in a 3 hour hunt pounded. I usually use Field2 or my go-to Park1 mode for cellar holes. Continuing to experiment with Beach1 with fun results.

I’m not sure if it is the much higher stock recovery speed in Beach1 or the frequency mix it is using, but slow low and steady is producing enough repeatable signals to make these sites fun again. It is also a very stable and quiet mode that help make those low tones pop. No big coins, but pewter and tombac buttons are fun oldies around here.

Also noting that this mode requires the detector finding its groove, really. Like I will find zero targets for 90 minutes in a very small area, then it starts picking up and I will get hit after hit in the same area. Maybe has to do with frequencies being automatically selected and rejected or noise canceling, not sure.

Good luck out there!

Nice buttons Thad.

Way to clear out them sites. I'd say the beach program is treating you well.

I've been playing with it a bit to and find it is extremely stable and quiet program.

What's been the ticket for me lately is cranking up the sensitivity on the machine.

I've been digging some really deep coins these past few weeks. Hope to get back out with you guys again here soon.
