Since We’re going to throw axes on My BDay I decided to use up My day to hunt Yesterday, that My Sweet Wife helped Me work out.
On the first stop I hunted a yard We’ve been to a few times that has produced a lot. I did a couple curb strips across from the house and scored 2 V Nickels and one Buffalo. When I got back to the Silver yard, I got another V Nickel shortly there. I was swinging low & slow using the Legacy Program that I modified a bit. I got a faint squeak showing pretty deep on the non ferrous side of the display. I had My 🤞 . Turns out it was a 1906 Barber Dime! Yes!!
V Nickels-1891,1894,1910
Buffalo-1936
Wheats-1955D,1941,1916

After I packed up and left with a Smile, I called My Wife and she said We still had time if I needed to hunt some more. Sweet!! I came do the old downtown area of Muskogee. I passed by this old Church that I drool at all the time but have never hunted. Having a little time I gave it a quick hunt. I’m sure this place has been hunted for years. Pretty easy to recognize 😁
I found a kids aluminum ring and a Penny and one Nickel. It has been hunted pretty clean. Tons of iron too. About 10’ out from the building and I got a Sweet 91-92 signal showing deep. I dropped down and dug it up. When I first saw it, it looked like a little kids Silver ring edge. Not thinking I wiped the dirt off, and it was a 1944D Merc!!! Yes!!! Pics ⬇️
Below- Awesome early BDay Hunt!!!! Silver#9fty!!! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!!!
