I was just organizing some pics and I came across my buddies blade. We call this bayou site "The Chief Site" ..........it's a long story about a pit bull and a crab trap..... We were screening this area several years ago and finding massive quantities of arrow points mixed with a few dart points. It was every shovel full for days! My buddie started collecting and assembling the large pottery shards in one small grid. He would drive his hand down into the sloppy mud and retrieve items laying on the texas gray clay foundation about elbo deep. It was nasty and stinky to say the least. One day he stops by with this large blade found the same way. To give you an example of the normal size of flint points from the same 10 feet of shorline I included a page of the normal arrow points. I thought you all may get a charge out of this one. Enjoy. G
