Ive seen bayonets similar to this before. I believe it is from the early 1900's, if i am not mistaken i belive it is German or Austrian with a value of roughly $50.

This appears to be the English 1888 but there are more then one variation.
In the second photo you can see crowns engraved in the blade with VR (Victoria) and R(Regina?).
You can also see that the blade has the makers name Wilkinson who made edged weapons.
The third pictures again shows a crown.
The last picture shows the last three numbers of the serial number.
This number should be on the scabbard but they don't always have them with the blade .
The scabbard was issued with the blade but they were often mixed when reissued.
Last I think this may have been used in any one of the English territories.
The many marks on the one side may show where this was issued but I have nothing to compare them to.
Check out any gun or military shows/flea markets to find any other information.
Hope this helps.

This is a British made Mark 2 Lee-Metford Pattern 1888 Bayonet.

The marks indicate that it was inspected by the Birmingham Royal Small Arms Factory as well as the Wilkinson factory that manufactured it.
I believe the manufacture date on it is 1893 but it is difficult to read.

EDIT:

Looks like I messed up a little. It is actually a Mark 1, Type 2 rather than a Mark 2. You can tell this by the placement of the oil hole after the second brass rivet on the handle.

If you have the scabbard for it, the bayonet should be worth somewhere around $200 - $300 bucks. Without the scabbard, maybe $100 to $150.
