Wrong. It's a US Army and Air Force survival knife made by Ontario Knife Co in New York. If you lok on the butt end you will see "Ontario" and the date manufactured.

Sure looked like a Ka-Bar to me, oh well I learn something new all the time. Can you take some more pics of the markings on the knife so we can see what he is talking about.

Thanks for the link, it's pretty easy to see the difference when they are together. Still a pretty good knife for $10.

Not a Marine issue. I still have mine and passed it onto my son. He is on third tour with Force Recon. He had to get a new sheith, but the old K-bar keeps doing what you ask of it. They don't have serrations on top.

Very cool, I had some of those when my Dad was in the service, dont know what happened to them.
