Just got back from touring Cold Harbor, Gaines Mill, Drewry Bluffs and Malvern Hill Battlefields.
I have a bumper sticker on my car that says: "I dig metal detecting". I was at Malvern Hill and
I saw a park ranger checking me out. I know what what the rules are. Maybe I should take it off.
I wish I knew those people down in Cold Harbor with all that open farm land. Would like to get permission and check it out. I bet they dig up stuff every planting season.
