Just thought y'all might like to see some of the pics from the reenactment I got to enjoy today. Have a good'n.

This first one is my favorite.

Even ol' Honest Abe graced us with his appearance.

Thats pretty neat. They have one near me, but I've never attended. I guess I should.

I love these events. I wish they had one close to me every weekend. I even tried it a couple of times, but with three young kids the time and money were sparse.

It looks like Abe has gained a little weight. Is the guy behind him with the badge supposed to be Pinkerton? Worried someone might take a shot at old Abe again?

Fine pictures ! Getting to the point in my life that I can participate in some of these adventures again. They are fun.

i saw this saturday and it was great. poor guys in the wool coats were burning up though. any info on where the battle actually took place? thx sam

Cache Crazy - Go and check it out...I'm glad I did. Heck...it was free, except for the fuel to get there.

PimpLenin - I thought I'd like to do it too but after getting sticker shock over the prices for the equipment I thought otherwise. Yep, it's a pinky with Abe. I read a good CW book about the Pinkerton's and the start of the secret service is called On Secret Service by John Jakes.

truckinbutch - Thanks...I'd like to travel to a few more around the state, maybe I'll see ya there.

kybriarbuster - Sorry I didn't get to meet you there. It was very hot that Sat. I don't know how they did it? I've got some links to research but I don't have (at this time) any actual info. on where it took place. Give me a shout, maybe we could come up a hunt.
