My parents played this album a lot as I was growing up too and I HAD good memories until several family parties over the years, where my mom and sister (after a few drinks) would shrill (sing?) to Paradise by the dashboard light. Ever hear drunk women singing along to this song? Excruciating!
We would anticipate this every time and go hide somewhere until the day when Meathead came to Winnipeg a couple of years go and my mom and sis went.
He was deathly ill and couldn't catch his breath so his daughter sang overtop of him. Hands down the worst concert ever and now they're turned off from him for good.
Victory for my dad, bro-in-law, and me, as we don't have to cover our ears in pain anymore!
Don't be sad, two out of three anyway......

Young, heck I still listen to the Bat Out Of Hell album! I listened to Paradise By Dashboard light this morning while cruising in my Miata with the top down. Sounds good on my sound system too, Pioneer tuner, 960 watt Massive amp, 300 watt 10" sub woofer in trunk with 4 Kicker 6x8 speakers and 4 tweeters in the passenger compartment..
